The Equus Projects
- Joined the Board of Directors in 2008.  The Equus Projects partners professional dancers with horses and their riders to create site-specific performance works that merge the artistry of dance with the athletics of equestrianism.

- NYC Parks Mounted Auxiliary Unit, Inc. - Patrolling NYC Parks (2001-2006)  Served as a Training Officer, Board Member and Presented "Horse of Course" Educational Programs for NYC School Children.

Alex O'Kane -

Alex is in her freshman year at SUNY Cobleskill.  She is studying Equine Science.  This past summer Alex started young Racksan, a two year old filly.  Racksan was under saddle in just two short weeks.  A highly accomplished horsewoman, Alex shows hunter-jumpers and competes in hunter paces throughout New York State.  She has studied under bronze and silver medalist Lee Anne Greene for the past five years.  She teaches riding and horsemanship at Country Lee and is a volunteer with the STEED therapeutic riding program, now in it’s 37th year.  O’Kane wrote the volunteer manual for Red Horse.  She has a very clear understanding of horses and why they do things and is always willing to learn more.

                        





Angela Labella is beginning her career with horses.   She works for Red Horse while learning all about equine management and riding.  Angela wishes to own her own horse soon.  She's a good friend of Hank (he loves her too).







Tim Blomquist -
Tim Blomquist was recently graduated from South Orangetown Middle School, and begins his freshman year at Tappan Zee High School in September. He is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and a blue belt in karate.
 
Tim has been assisting in lessons with the Alisons' Whispers Adaptive and Therapeutic Riding Program at Country Lee Farm two days a week.   An excellent horse leader, Tim is gentle with the animals and helps out in every aspect of the program operations.   Tim lives in Piermont, NY with his parents, brother and two cats.
